Hi, I’m Barb Lang.

I’m a professional filmmaker and videographer based in St. Louis, Missouri.

I’m an environmentalist and humanitarian at heart, searching for the intersection of natural light and humanity.

I never stop learning.

My work is grounded in four years of professional experience and dual bachelor's degrees in science and documentary film. Training at the Murray Center for Documentary Journalism, followed by projects with The Nature Conservancy and NBC, taught me to tell meaningful stories across vastly different landscapes. As director and editor of Children of the Wolves, I'm crafting a time capsule of one pivotal year in the fight for Idaho's wolves, seen through the eyes of the young activists who led it. At Chamberlin, a wealth management firm in St. Louis, I use video storytelling to make complex financial topics feel human. At the core of it all: a blend of science and art, shaped by curiosity and a lifelong commitment to nonfiction storytelling.
